Moving House

We have made a decision…I ♥ WordPress a lot. It is a great domain. But as you can probably guess by the blog title, we are changing.

We are going to keep this site running. It doesn’t cost anything and I will keep posting crafts and iSonali updates. But I think that Blogger will just work better for me, as me and Nicki will be able to follow all our friends and whatnot. So, Blogger will be our permanent blog! Wish us luck setting up our blog today

So long since a post!

Hey!

Wow, it has been so long since I last posted A whole week! I am very sorry…there has been so much other stuff.

Well, this blog probably won’t be a very long one. But I want to know:

Should I Move To Blogger?

The pros of Blogger are that I can follow all you others, which is good, and I can use cool backgrounds and have better widgets in the sidebar.

The cons are that I wouldn’t be able to have all the different pages I have with WordPress. Also, I am more comfortable with the WordPress layout.

If  I did change to Blogger, I could still keep this site updated with crafts and iSonali, but not blog so regularly. That could be a good compromise I suppose…

A Weekend Post

I have lots of time, so this will be random and long-ish! Hopefully with lots of pictures. Of me, Nicki!
OK, so, Alicia uploaded some new videos, and I am *starring* in one of them:

On another note, Kit’s party! It was so much fun We arrived there and Kit opened all her presents. From me (and Libby! ) she got some Shirley Temple paper dolls and this really cute stuffed rabbit thingy. Have just searched through all of my History and can’t find the link anywhere From Lucy and Emily and Sonali and Alicia, she got a photograph thingy, with a picture of each of them, a Go Ape! voucher (aka Alicia’s garden! ) and some other stuff that I can’t remember
And from her sisters she got a set of stationery, in perspex-y type stuff, scissors and stapler and hole punch and staples! Then we had a picnic, which consisted of sub sandwiches and salad, and then Alicia played us this really rude song by Tenacious D! It was so rude that me, Kit, Lucy and Emily had to cover our ears! It made the human girls double over with laughter. But it is too rude to link to here! Anyhoo, then the humans had dinner, and then we got in our PJ’s! And then we had birthday cake and s’mores! Yum! Then we sat up and gossiped for ages! We didn’t lay down until almost midnight! And we were snacking on haribos, so… It was funny, because Libby and Alicia were a little lazy they didn’t get up, instead they all stated on Petra’s bed, and Libby was at the bottom. But in the end she was too squashed, and got up–and trod on Julie

On another note, I really want to make a new photostory! But it is bad weather at the moment but maybe in an hour or so when it is better lighting. I don’t know.

Now, time for some GENERAL CUTENESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New Stuffses–hey! School hasn’t started, I’m allowed bad grammar!

Hey! Nicki here, and as you can probably tell, I am back. Mini Kit would like to post again, she had so much fun, but I told her no, so you should actually be able to understand this post. Mini Kit is pouting at me for saying that.
“It is lolcatish!” she says.
Well, it is Kit’s birthday party today! I have about half an hour till I leave-yay! She has the best presents ever I will post them tomorrow, just in case Kit is reading this…I will tell you what I am wearing though. My favourite hawiaan print dress, the pink cropped jacket, pink sneakers and my favourite orange necklace. My hair is in a ponytail vail.
Anyhoo, this is not what this post is for. It is called New Stuffses–hey! School hasn’t started, I’m allowed bad grammar! not What I am wearing to Kit’s Party and my hairstyle. So here is the ‘New Stuffses’

• Felt slippers has finally been put on!
• There is a ‘Polls’ page in progress-nearly finished!
• Libby is making a new ‘Autumn’ header!

The reason crafts take so long to come up is this:

First off all, we need a basic idea of what to make. Then, Libby has to make it, and sometimes take photos as it is being made. Then we have to leave it a few days, to check it withstands playing. Then, the page has to be written, and sometimes pictures need editing or drawing on a computer programme. It isn’t easy!

OK, now that is done, I will get back to telling you ’bout Kit’s party! So, it is a picnic for dinner–hopefully it will stay sunny–and then a sleepover. Sonali, Lu and Emily are coming too, and it will be soooo much fun! Amazingly, Libby isn’t taking her camera, but Auntie Petra might take some pictures and email them to us and in that case we will probably post them. But I don’t know.

I will have to go soon, and Mini Kit has been forgetting to tag posts, so I had better go!

Summer School

It’s only lunch on the first day, and I dislike Summer School so much! There are 5 of us in the group Mr Bright is tutoring. There is only one other girl, and she is really rude and stuck up She parades around, and is really angry because she has to come to summer school instead of go to the beach in Spain. ::)

The three boys play on their DS under the table, and Mr Bright spends most of his time telling them off ::) and they have been chatting instead of doing their Math worksheets.

Summer school starts at 9:30. We have register, and all that stuff, and then lessons start at 10:00. In the morning we have to do Math work, and spelling. Then at 1:00, lunch period starts. We have 45 mintues of lunch, then a 15 minute registration period. In the afternoon, we have to work on our essays and presentation.

We have all been told that instead of using our original personage for the essay, we have to pick someone new. Also, we have to make a presentation to show to our group on Friday! I am so nervous

I think I will do Madeline Vionnet, a French designer, because she had a big impact on the fashion world and I don’t think anyone else will do that!

At the end of the week, there will be a big Picasa Album, with all the pictures and my presentation, and the next few posts will just be written.

If you were wondering how I was allowed to use the computer-one of the tutors let me use her computer because I finished my lunch.

A New Stop-Motion Film

Hey!

Guess what, girls? I’m going to be famous! I can hardly believe it either Libby is directing a new stop-motion film, and I am the main character, Natalie! The film is called Little Miss Not-So-Perfect, about a girl who’s parents are getting a divorce, and they are arguing all the time so she has to do all the chores and look after her younger siblings, as well as study for school and keep up the appearance of the most popular girl in her class. But she forgets to study for a Maths test, and it is a really important one! Watch the trailer please!:

Because of limited resources, the speech will have to be typed out and also, because this is the first time she is going to try something like this, the episodes will probably be short, about 30 seconds of film, unless we put them all together. We are still working out some glitches, modifying the script, and all that. Also, we need a tagline, I think they are called. Libby has thought of two:

Desperate people, well, they do desperate things.

and

Being perfect has never been so hard

Which one do you like best?

We are going to be filming it throughout August and September, though the first episodes will be coming out in September.
